My review:
I generally do not read non-fiction unless it is a biography or a memoir, but I was excited to read this book as soon as my library group picked it for discussion. I learned a lot about animal behaviors (including humans) and the continuing struggle for us to co-exist. I, like the author, tend to side with the animals since more often than not we are invading their space and doing the things to cause trouble in the first place. Roach's style is informative, as well as entertaining, and I laughed out loud on multiple occasions. It is well researched and presented in an understandable format. I probably would have given it 5 stars, but it was sometimes dry and since I generally read before bed it took me a long time to finish it.
