My Spring Bookish Ambitions

Levels:
Tulip - 1-2 goals
Rainbow - 3-4 goals
Baby Robins - 5-6 goals
Spring Cleaning - 7 or more goals

In setting your level of participation, please note that the first goal can only be used once. All other goals can be used as many times as you like.

*During this Read-a-Thon be on the lookout for:
1. A book whose MC's first initial is NOT in the the word TULIP.
2. A book published in March, April or May.
3. A book that is a debut for an author.
4. A book that has a garden or farm on the cover.
5. A book where a character adopts an animal.

*The lookout tasks are optional, so feel free to complete as many or as few as you want.

Goals to work from:
1. Number of books to complete in the month - or number of books per week in the month. This goal can also be stated as the number of pages to read per month or week, or the number of hours to listen to audio books per month or week. This is the only goal that may be used just once in a quarter.

2. Finish a challenge or part of a challenge. Tell us which challenge is your focus.

3. Start a challenge. Tell us which challenge you are starting. You should try to read at least one book for a new start, but these are just goals... so we understand if that doesn't entirely work out!

4. Series catch up. Select a series you want to focus on bringing current and state how many books you hope to complete for that series. Name the series and tell us your beginning and (hoped for) ending spots.

5. Buddy reads. Participate in a buddy read or group read.

6. Participate in a game challenge. Tell us which game and how many books you hope to complete for the game during the quarter.

7. Spell outs. Spell out any word that you associate with the Spring season. Complete the spell outs using the first letter of a title or the first initial of an author's first or last name.

8. New author. Read a book by an author who is new to you.

9. New genre. Read a book from a genre you have never tried, or from a genre you normally don't read.

10. Clean up that TBR list! Eliminate some books from your TBR list. Could be the oldy moldies or a certain author or any other grouping you want to pare down.
