A Court of Thorns and Roses discussion

Hello:))))
As time went by, I slowly started setting aside my love for reading. However, this last year I began to read ACOTAR series due to a friend's reccommendation. Now I cant stop reading! I had forgotten just how much I love to read! With this, is anybody in the same boat? What books got you back into reading?

Me too !! I was def in a reading slump until I found ACOTAR. It introduced me to this genre I never knew existed (fae and faeries)

I won't deny this was the case for me too. I got caught up in the Beauty and beast based on premise and then I was surprised.

Fourth Wing and the Empyrean Series is what got me back into reading but currently Sarah J. Maas is what is keeping me. I love ACOTAR so much but I am really enjoying the writing in TOG. It is so good and hard to put down.

omg same!! I havent read this much since i was like 10. It kinda reminded me of when i was a kid and i would sit and read all the Harry Potter books back to back. This series was finally something i couldn't put down. Probably going to read the throne of glass series next

I read ACATOR and it also got me out of a long reading slump. I have since started reading other books from different authors in the Romantasy genre . I have enjoyed reading not only about Faye 's but , Enemy to lovers, Vikings, Vampire's etc..

I'm looking for some books to read that are similar to acotar but I'm really struggling. Any recommendations?

I have a problem where I get bored extremely easily, so although I absolutely loved acotar, it got to a point where I was up to date with all the books and while I was waiting for the new release I got bored of the genre. I'm thinking of trying to read it again to see how it goes.
