Josie’s newly found family has swooped in and embraced her, mother Shannon staying at her home for weeks as she recuperated from the injuries suffered at the hands of her fake mother. Given that Josie previously was sort of a loner with a developing drinking problem, how do you think she’s now managing?

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments I was surprised to see that prickly Josie was actually tolerating, if not enjoying, all this family attention. It was good to see that Josie realized she was developing a dependency on alcohol and keeping in mind that it wasn't a good thing.

As a loner myself, I tend to get overwhelmed/anxious w. too much going in my space, even if it is in love, I still require that alone time. And all that came w. Josie's past bc of Lila, I definitely would have needed some process time. I would have definitely welcomed the bonding, but we would have to pace that thing out :-)

I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly she embraced her new family. Imagine the relief in knowing that she wasn’t part of Lila. Maybe for the first time she can breathe.

Kat (bookworm2017) | 15 comments I like her family. Think she’s manning but probably still wants her alone time

After years of having alone time always, she’s not going to be able to just let that go.
