Nominations are open for the May Book of the Month!

The book with the most votes will be the book of the month. I look forward to your suggestions!

Just a friendly reminder that it's always a good idea to look over the guidelines if you've never nominated before.

Feel free to nominate a Christian fiction book of your choosing. Do consider nominating an author that we've not read at least in 2023 or 2024. Please follow the guidelines below and also make sure to nominate a book that released AT LEAST three months ago.

PLEASE REVIEW THESE GUIDELINES:
-Nominations much be from a publisher of Christian Fiction (example: Bethany House) and/or be classified in the Christian Fiction Genre.
-Please do not nominate a book we've already read as a group in the last three years. You will be asked for a different nomination if you do. Find our shelves here:

2025: https://www.goodreads.com/group/books...
2024: https://www.goodreads.com/group/books...
2023: https://www.goodreads.com/group/books...

-Any author is up for nomination, as long as the book you nominate has not been a group read during 2023-2025, however, try not to nominate an author that we've read this year already. Self nominations are not allowed.

-If it is a book in a series that is not the first book, make sure you know that it can be read as a standalone and doesn't require the previous books being read to understand and enjoy.

-Please note that there may be more reasons that a book is not a good fit for nominations or group members as a whole, whether it be availability, cost, accessibility, etc. The moderators reserve the right to make these decisions. Please know we do our best in making these kinds of decisions, and we're all human. Your patience is appreciated. Thank you for your understanding! :)

Nominations will be open through March 15.

Hunter H. Treasures of the Lochs
If okay, I will nominate Treasures of the Lochs. This is suspenseful YA Christian fiction, involving a modern-day treasure hunt in Scotland, with a bit of supernatural thrown in. Blending historical fact and Scottish legend within an action-packed adventure, Treasures of the Lochs is an exciting, powerful story of faith, friendship, and redemption. This book is a 2024 NIEA Finalist in Religion Fiction. It also hit Amazon#1 New Release for Christian Fantasy. I hope you’ll check it out.

Hunter, we do not allow for self-nominations for book of the month. Please feel free to nominate someone else's work! 🙂

Thank you Kari. Since this was already nominated, would you like to nominate something else? Or you can vote for Low Country Lost when the poll opens.

Ok. Thank you. I misunderstood. I thought this was voting. Thanks for clarifying. I am new to this group

Karin | 44 comments Hi, I realize I've been absent for some time, although I have been reading some Christian fiction & nonfiction. I'd like to nominate The Line Between by Tosca Lee
The Line Between (The Line Between #1) by Tosca Lee

I see you've read books by her in the past, but not this one and it's quite different than the others on the group shelf, but still Christian. :)
