"I swear, when I find the cat video that broke my poor little submind . . . "
"its not the cat's fault Skippy"
"You sure about that?"
"Absolutely. This is the internet you're talking about, right? Come on, the odds are it had to be a porn video"
Mosscap, the robot in A Psalm for the Wild-Built by Becky Chambers
And a more menacing AI, HAL 9000 from 2001: A Space Odyssey by Arthur C. Clarke.

Lovey, the AI in The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet, also Becky Chambers.
Lots of AI-related issues in Fool's War by Sarah Zettel.
And we can't forget Marvin, the Paranoid Android in The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy!
We'll encounter some pretty fascinating AI in the Hyperion series.

I, Robot by Isaac Asimov. The classic that posses the three laws of robotics.
Ancillary Justice by Ann Leckie. Breq was once part of a larger AI. Can they regain what they lost?
All Systems Red by Martha Wells. Gotta love the Murderbot trying to deal with humans while they only want to watch trashy soaps again and again.
Translation State by Ann Leckie. Qyen is something different, wanting to find their place in the universe.

Oh, and Eddie, the ship board computer. :)

Now there’s a question worth pondering: if you use biological parts can you still be an AI? I would say yes, if we are talking a sentient AI that was created through manipulation and programming?
