Free book editing/beta reading discussion

Hi all!

I have just finished writing a manuscript and am looking for some beta readers. This is my first time writing a novel and I need to know if what I'm thinking about it, is the truth or if I'm being too hard on myself haha.

It is a fantasy book about a 21-year-old female, Alex, who was taken from a society of Warriors when she was a child, and has just been found by them. The Warriors are bred to fight a group of vampire-like enemies called the Soukougnan who were created by a demon, the Ifrit.

Alex must pass a series of Trials in order to become what she was born to be, failure of these Trials is not an option.
Along the way, she meets friends, enemies, lovers, all while trying to forget her mortal ways.

Like I said, it's my first time writing a book, and I think it will need a lot of work at this stage, but I am looking for first thoughts and reviews. Also tips on how to improve.
