Hello:

I made minor changes to my book description and updated my cover. Can you please help me update my Goodreads listing for the following title Safe in Death: An Esther Hardy Victorian Mystery Book 1. Please update both the ebook and the paperback editions.

As the registered author you can edit the description as well as add alternate cover editions.

Oh, I tried to do that. But when I tried to update the book description, I got a pop-up telling me the change had to be made by a librarian. I'm not sure why.

When you add the alternate cover edition you can give the updated description for that.

An alternate cover edition? I see where to do that, but I thought it was better to simply change the cover image since I don't really want two separate editions. Changing the cover is the only change I made. Thanks!

We don't change covers. When readers add an edition to their history, they want to see the cover they read.
