Paul Williams | 3 comments Allow me to formally introduce myself. My name is Paul Williams and I'm from Cleveland Ohio. I've been writing since I was a kid. I was heavily influenced by Goosebumps books that's when I first started writing short stories as I grew older I was influenced by hip hop music so I started crafting songs in my teens. I grew an appreciation for the rappers to tell stories on instrumentals.
I loved Jay Z Nas Tupac etc those guys shaped my formative years. I have music videos on other platforms as well.
But then I got into movies and the best director of all time to me is Martin Scorsese with his ability to reflect on the human element and emotion we all have.
I'm married with 2 kids and a wife and with a lot of time and patience I managed to complete a book series.

THE KING'S OMEN:
Bruce Edwards who has gangster ties dating back to the 1930s policy rackets vowed to never step foot into the game because his grandfather and mother both met an untimely death. He didn't want that for his family but he reaches a financial crisis and personal family issues which reel him into organized crime.
The paths he chooses in this story will be very vital towards the future of his familyThe King's Omen: The Fall of The Edwards Crime Family: Vol 1 The Book of Broken Families

Melanie Rodgers (melanierodgerscom) | 2 comments Hello everyone. I'm Melanie Rodgers author of the man behind the curtain. It is a fiction, domestic suspense. Forgive me as I stumble my way through my first gr group. I'm not even sure that I'm posting this intro in the right place ... Hope so . There are so many wonderful books out in so many genres but it's taken me months to find people who write in this genre. I'm excited to join your group and eager to learn how to navigate gr. Be gentle please I'm a GR virgin. New since? Dec of this year I believe.

Melanie Rodgers (melanierodgerscom) | 2 comments Hi Paul,
Thank you for the warm welcome and no I didn't mean to comment on your post. Clearly I continue to struggle to navigate Goodreads. You posted this on Mar. 16 and it is now Apr. 10 and I am seeing it for the first time. It would appear that everything I do/ find on GR is 100% by accident. Feeling very technically inept at 62 and finding navigating this site dang near impossible. I was hoping to find fellow thriller authors/friends. Haven't met anyone on here since signing up last Dec. So I'm happy to meet my first ever GR friend. ;)

Paul Williams | 3 comments Oh absolutely the pleasure is all mine. Feels good to connect with a fellow author as well. I sent you a friend request so hopefully we can continue this conversation on a separate thread I know this group is probably sick of seeing us chatting on this thread lol. So hope to see you there when you log back in. 😎✌️
