Royals doesnt sound cheesy but it really depends on the story it goes with.

yea... like if it's a princessy one... yea thats cheesy... but for what you said it seems fine...
Really depends. It might be cheesy if it's not a more serious storyline. If it's a really girly book, yeah-- it's cheesy. BTW, why do we have a whole discussion devoted to this?

my school mascot is a royalGOOOOOOOO ROYALS!!
we're royals and wildcats... Well, I'm a wildcat, the highschool are royals but who cares?
Well our football team is so bad that no one cares about are mascot. I mean really bad. Our town had two highschools and they were tied for last place. :L

I think it's a good title for the story, I don't really think it's cheesy for your story.
It honestly depends on what your story is about. It could be cheesy, or it might not be.
