This is still one of my favourite ghost stories. I read the condensed version of it in Reader's Digest Condensed Books when I was a young teen. My parents had a subscription at the time. We had a library of them, it seemed.

Oh wow, Janice. You were brave! I am not much of a ghost story/ horror person. I am easily spooked. So I tried to find myself the least spooky book and still decided not to read it at night haha
