RULES

** Books DO NOT all have to be mysteries. You can use any genres.

** A book can be used only once for this challenge, but can be used for other challenges (Seasonal, World Trip, Ultimate, etc.).

** You DO NOT have to choose books in advance, and can change your mind at any time if you do.

** Do as many as you are able and have fun!


1. June is Adopt a Cat Month and June 4 is Hug Your Cat Day: Read a book featuring a cat on the cover or as part of the story.

2. June 10 is Ball Point Pen Day: Read a book featuring a writer, journalist or columnist.

3. June 21 is National Sea Shell Day: Read a book set on or near a beach.

4. June 24 is Celebration of the Senses Day: Read a book with one of the five senses in the title (sight, smell, taste, touch, sound/hear(ing)).*

5. June 30 is Social Media Day Read a book you saw featured on any social media platform (e.g.: Blogs, BookTube**, GoodReads, FaceBook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, etc.) and tell us where you found your book.

A couple notes:

Try not to feel overwhelmed by the last two challenges.

* Senses — it's easier than it might seem. I found about two dozen options on my own shelves, many of them mysteries. “Taste” and “Sight” are probably the easiest.

** BookTube refers to book-related content on YouTube. If unfamiliar with it, I suggest starting with a search for "June TBR" or "June mystery books” or “cozy mysteries.”
