Hello all! Thank you so much for joining my new and first ever bookclub, sorry if there's some growing pains as I figure this out!

I decided to make this space to help keep me accountable and to share my love of seasonally reading classics. As a slow reader, and someone easily distracted, I thought this could be a great space to share our love for reading at a slower space, without the rush to read as many books as possible in the year.

Take your time, there's no rush! We'll be here to join discussions as they come. Please try and chapter your experience and thoughts so everyone can join the discussion when they reach that point in the story!

Yay! I'm glad I could be of help. I've been wanting to read more classics for years so I made this to keep me accountable and make a small community to discuss the classics I want to read <3

hi! I really struggle with reading classics I feel like sometimes you have to really be immersed in the book to understand it properly but hopefully this group will help me <3

Hi! Definitely, it can be a little tricky to read classics sometimes. Hopefully if you ever loose motivation or get stumped, you can discuss the book here with everyone and that'll help make the reading experience more enjoyable for you <3

hii!! 🥰 this is such a fun idea, i love reading classics (especially the ones that are not talked about enough) but i’m both a really slow reader and like to take my time with each book so i think i’ll enjoy being here :)

Hello! This is so exciting! I started The Secret Garden a while back, but I never did finish it. This club will make me sit down and do so. From what I’ve read it has beautiful prose and description of nature, so reading it with you guys won’t be hard. Thanks for letting me join!

I'm so glad this club has re-inspired you to finish The Secret Garden. I'm loving the writing so far! Take your time, there's two months before we'll be moving on to a different book.

Hi everyone! I'm so excited to be a part of this bookclub! I used to read a fair bit of classics around 2015 but honestly have not read many since. I can't wait to slowly start reading some more as part of this club.

Hii! I finally started the book yesterday, really enjoying so far. :)

Hi everyone ✨ Been silently reading the secret garden for the past 3 weeks, I’m in love so far. I’ve been using little index markers to highlight my favourite moments and I’m so exited to share them with you all xo
