I was browsing ISFDB site for short story collections, and accidentally found Top Short Fiction Titles as Voted by ISFDB Users https://www.isfdb.org/cgi-bin/stats.c...

Because this is not a rating site but more info-collecting site, the rating is highly uneven, for I guess 99% never rated a piece there.

However, some statistics:
period # of stories
0-1900 22
1901-1930 27
1931-1940 21
1941-1950 54
1951-1960 64
1961-1970 45
1971-1980 48
1981-1990 47
1991-2000 13
2001-2010 10
2011-2020 10

Cheryl (cherylllr) | 7 comments Interesting! As you say, there will likely be bias towards the authors who have fans who are likely to vote. I use the site, but I never voted.

I'm very glad to see that Simak, Sheckley and Brown have not been forgotten. But honestly, the top several (except Asimov) wouldn't make my personal list. Not until we get to Chiang does it get closer to valid imo.

Actually, as I said, there are just a few ratings, so just starting adding their own rating, I guess several people can change the picture. I may try to do it starting withthe Hugo nominees I've read
