I know that the Princess Bride is already a book, but I want something similar to it in terms of fantasy, silliness, fun and adventure.

I have not had a chance to read this book yet, but I have heard that Tress of the Emerald Sea is a book one woud enjoy if you are a fan of The Princess Bride and looking for something similar.

Discworld books by Terry Pratchett are humorous and full of adventure. The Color of Magic is first in the series.
I think Howl’s Moving Castle and other books by Dianna Wynn Jones are similar. Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine and also my book The Orange Curse fit your description!
