Maureen | 183 comments Hi Eleanor,
I checked out the books you have listed as buddy reads.
I am interested in the Notorious Ladies of London Collection by Scarlet Scott. I have not read any of this series yet though.
I could the first three in the series by April 4th and start book 4 by April 5th. Does that sound okay to you?

Eleanor | 30 comments Hi Maureen! Sounds good to me! No need to rush if you don't want to, I barely started Book 4 and have been reading some other books for other book clubs too :)

Maureen | 183 comments Hi Eleanor,
Thanks. I will let you know when I begin Book #4 in the series. I am 1/2 finished the first book and am enjoying it. A dark romance in the Victorian era.

Laura Elizabeth | 6 comments Hi Eleanor! I saw this post yesterday and while at library yesterday I saw The Ornithologist's Field Guide to Love (Love's Academic, #1) by India Holton and I picked it up. So whenever you are ready I could buddy read it. I’ve never read anything from this author before.

Great! I have it on my Kindle, just haven't started it yet... haha.

I did start one of her other books a while ago, The Wisteria Society of Lady Scoundrels, her first in a series, but then I realized it had these "magic" elements in it so I didn't continue. I am not really a romantasy person unless it involves vampires and werewolves etc :P

I can handle a tiny bit - like Casey McQuiston's One Last Stop, or Ashley Poston's Dead Romantics, but I haven't read Poston's Seven Year Slip because of the whole "time machine" premise. I don't know, just a weird mental block!

It's like how even though I used to read some YA (like Hunger Games and Twilight series), I don't really want to anymore. Again, Casey McQuiston is the exception b/c I really liked I Kissed Shara Wheeler :P

Eleanor | 30 comments Oh I'll start threads for the buddy read discussions!

Laura Elizabeth | 6 comments Ok great let me know when you want to start. I’ve got a stack of books on my list this month but can start anytime. I love magic and Romantasy so she might be a good author for me.

Maureen | 183 comments Hi Eleanor,
I will start tomorrow too. How do you want to comment on the story? By the chapter? read 1/4, then comment? Specific questions?
Let me know what you want?
This will be so much fun! Happy reading.
