Welcome to the Kanto Region
The Kanto region is visited by players in the first generation of the Pokémon games and can be explored in Generations II, III, IV, and VII. It is located east of Johto, which together forms a joint landmass south of Sinnoh. All the cities in Kanto are named after colors, except for Pallet Town. The original 151 Pokémon of Red/Blue/Yellow can be found in Kanto.
Professor Oak is the resident Pokémon Professor that starts the Pokémon Trainer on their quest by offering the player one of three choices in their first partner Pokémon.
