Who wants to read Lantana Lane by Eleanor Dark? This is our buddy-read in April 2025.

If you have read it already, or you are reading it at another (later) time - write here what you think about the book too.

[Please keep in mind to hide spoilers in spoiler brackets.]

I started it two days ago. It is more a collection of stories than a novel, in my opinion. Some of the stories are great, some just fine.

Sonia Johnson | 140 comments Read it in 23 for Aussie April. Seem to remember enjoying it more than I thought I would. The stories were charming and sometimes amusing. I did feel a sense of community on Lantana Lane. I think Dark was good at bringing the landscape and the lantata plant to life.

Cphe | 97 comments I read it a while ago and was a bit disappointed. I had read the wonderful The Timeless Land trilogy many, many years ago and it didn't compare.

Plus only this summer I was out removing lantana from my paddocks a job I didn't enjoy.

Sonia Johnson | 140 comments The Timeless Land sounds great thanks for mentioning it Cphe, I will add it to my wishlist.

Cphe | 97 comments @ Sonia,

The trilogy consists of:

The Timeless Land

Storm of time

No Barrier
