spoiler thread for Things We Do in the Dark

I finished it and it took me a little under 8 hrs, which currently isn’t unusual as I typically read a book every 1-3 days. I think the story was good, but the ending could have been so much better. By 65-70% of the way though, I could predict the ending and I hate feeling like that when reading a psych-thriller/suspense. Like pls let me be wrong. Anyways, 3.5 because it was good until I knew what was going to happen. I will say the way Paris met her husband threw me for a loop as I didn’t fully expect it.

While I enjoyed it, I did have to suspend some feelings of disbelief. I could not put the book down, anyway, reading and reading….

I really enjoyed it. As someone born and raised in Toronto, the area she wrote about was very recognizable.

I liked this book, I gave it 4 stars. It’s a heavy story. I didn’t like the ending so much, for some reason I kept thinking it had been the assistant murdering him.
