Mrs. Quinn's Rise to Fame (Mrs.)
This book was like a warm cup of tea. Seventy seven years old Jenny is looking to add her mark in this world. She joins British Bakes competition show and through her recipes tells her life stories. It’s heartwarming and heartbreaking and so well done. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I read Miss Benson's Beetle for Miss prompt.
I found this book to be quirky. It was about two women who go on an expedition in search of a golden beetle, who develop an unlikely friendship. I wanted to like it more than I did. It has high reviews. But I found there to be some questionable plot devices. 3 stars

The Master Butchers Singing Club
I really liked this book, it was probably one of the longest audiobooks I ever heard and I am surprised I finished it in a week but it really was so good that it kept making time for itself in my schedule. Loved the story, the characters, the twists and turns. There is SO MUCH going on in this book but everything makes sense and that's a feat. The ending will take you by surprise. A glorious 4 stars!

I read Mrs. Quinn's Rise to Fame by Olivia Ford (Mrs. prompt)
I didn't think a book with the setting of "Britain Bakes" (take off of The British Baking Show) would make me so teary eyed. I loved this emotional, life-affirming book. Life can begin again at 77.

I read Mister Slaughter, Robert McCammon. (Mister)
I have had this on my TBR list for quite awhile. This gave me the chance to read it. I have read some of McCammon’s books before and really enjoyed them. This one, I listened to on Audible. It took me a minute to get into it, but once I did I enjoyed it. The setting is America in New York in the early 1700s. Matthew is in search of an escaped convict who is also a serial killer. Matthew is accompanied by a Seneca man named Walker. They have quite the adventures. I enjoy the writing of McCammon and this hasn’t changed. His writing is accomplished and the twists and turns all add up. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I read Herr Müller, die Verrückte Katze und Gott „Herr“ means Mister in German.
It’s a humorous, satirical novel about Mister Müller, who dies in an accident and mysteriously disappears from the afterlife’s records—risking cosmic chaos. His soul ends up in a cat in France, sparking a wild chase involving angels, demons, and his daughter Helena, all trying to prevent the apocalypse. The story blends absurdity, religious satire, and reflections on life and faith in a witty, imaginative way. The book is full of sarcasm, it was so much fun to read.

I read The Next Mrs. Parrish. It was a suspense book with some fairly evil wealthy people causing all kinds of family distress for each other. It was a fun listen on a day when I was stuck sick in bed.

I read The Late Mrs. Willoughby (Mrs.)
I'm sure you remember the unfaithful Mr. Willoughby from Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility. He's back.
This is book 2 in the Mr. Darcy & Miss Tilney mystery series. And the books are well written. I enjoyed catching up on all the characters, and watching as the two young adults solve mysteries. I'm looking forward to reading #3. And I believe #4 will be released in a few months.

I read Mr. Masters by T.L. Swan (M.r.)
I quite liked the book and it delivered exactly what I thought it would. The MCs have good chemistry and the romance was both steamy and cute. I had a really fun time reading it and gave it 4 stars. This one was in my TBR for a while and I glad I tried this author

I read Mrs England for Mrs.
I have always wanted to read Stacey Halls books, and regretting why I took this long. The story is about a children nurse from Norland Institute (I didn't know such place exist) who works for the Englands. This is the kind of book that you need to read till the end to know what was happening.

I read Mrs. Dalloway (Mrs.)
This is a reread for me. I absolutely adore Virginia Wolf and every time I read anything of hers I am blown away all over again. I totally get that she's not for everyone as not a great deal happens in many of her books (like this one) but the way she captures humanity is amazing to me and I love how she shows the sublime in the mundane.

I read Mrs. Dalloway for Mrs.
Delightful read. This book was recommended by a friend, more than one over the years, and I finally got to read it this month. It is an amazing book, and what is so amazing about it lines in the everyday descriptions of London, its people, and its beauty. I will be recommended it too.

Book: Miss Percy's Definitive Guide to the Restoration of Dragons (Miss Prompt)
This is book 3 of a comfort series read for me, and it didn't disappoint. An later in life female protagonist, out of her comfort zone going on adventures to protect cute and often mischievous baby dragons. Perfect comfort reads.

Book Mrs. Pollifax Unveiled (Mrs. Prompt)
This is the 14th and last book of a fun series I read (incidentally, the first book was published in 1966 and this one in 2000) about an intrepid over 60 widow (now remarried) who is an amateur occasionally hired by the CIA to do jobs in the guise of a harmless woman. In this one she and one of the characters from a few of the previous books are sent to the middle east to find and rescue a woman who was officially considered dead because there is a rumour she's alive but being held captive. Plenty of adventure and danger but all with a good dose of humour.

I enjoyed the two I've read so far.

I read Mr. Whisper for Mr.
I thought this was a quick and engaging read. I wasn't familiar with any of the characters before reading. There were four main characters, multiple victims, and a few side characters, so it took me a minute to figure it all out. Apparently, all of the main characters in this book are MCs from other series.
"The Specialists are all investigators from other Andrew Mayne series.
Investigator Sloan McPherson - Underwater Investigation Unit Series
FBI agent Jessica Blackwood - Jessica Blackwood
Scientist Theo Cray - The Naturalist
Brad Trasker - Trasker series"
I may have to go back and read some of the other series. I really enjoyed the characters. I was surprised by most of the ending, which was great.
