3. Flowery/botanical: The Wife Upstairs
4. Blurbed a recently read book: Check & Mate (blurbed a book I finished in February, since I mostly have done audio books this year, and not a lot of those have blurbs on the cover, I went with the most recently blurbed audio book that I have finished)

BW: animal: The Goose Girl
BWC: animal: A Court of Mist and Fury and/or Winter

It goes without saying that I failed the April round but it's ok, ya can't win em all! The Honey Witch had a very, very slow start and it's definitely the culprit responsible for putting me behind on my tbr. I did start I'm Afraid You've got Dragons but I only got maybe 20 pages in before the month ended so I will be transferring that book to May's TBR (luckily, it fits one of the prompts perfectly).
Hope everyone had a good time reading whether you finished your TBR or not and ill see you all in the May WoTBR thread!

hey everyone- I made an interesting discovery today which was absolutely by chance- there is a site called Crossword Solver that has a cool feature where you can type in a place and it will find books for you that are set in or around said place. I thought how perfect that was for this months prompt to read a book set where you are from. here's the link if you're interested: https://crossword-solver.io/books-set...
unfortunately I do think It only works for books in America. Maybe there is a similar websites out there for other countries as well. I'll have to look into that.

What a cool find! I've actually read 2/5 books listed as taking place in Buffalo (my pick was NYC, which I felt was a bit of a cop-out, but there's so many book that take place there lol)
1. Food-related word in the title/2. Set in my home state: American Pie
3. Flowery or botanical vibes on the cover: This Could Be Us
4. By an author that blurbed a recent read: The Only One Left

I also chose a book set in NYC so I copped out also lol I didn't find that little gem of a website until after I had already borrowed my NY book from the library!

I have actually finished all 4 prompts for the month. I'm not sure when the last time this has happened, but it's been a while. Still working on the monthly RtR and Buzzword prompts, but I loved The Wife Upstairs, and I liked everything else enough. April has been a solid reading month so far!

Another month, another round of Wheel of TBR! It's also another month in which we only have four prompts- which makes it a lot easier to win the round so I am not complaining. I think y'all will enjoy this month's prompts so let's jump right into it!
The Prompts
Spin #1
🌸 I will also accept the word "food" in a pinch.
Spin #2
Spin #3
Spin #4
🌸 This is an opportunity to add to your reading chain!
Simple but fun prompts this month, I'm excited to see all of your choices! Have a great reading month and the beginning of the warmer months (here in the northern hemisphere anyway- and ofc enjoy the beginning of the colder months if you happen to reside on the other side of the world- if you do just know that I envy you!).
