Sam’s grief counseling group kicks off and her son Scotty asked to come. Nick also shows up as they got started, all participating and sharing why they were there. Your thoughts about the session? Since she conceived the group, does this provide another side of Sam?

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments It was a great way for these people to share their grief and get comfort. Only time will heal their wounds, but this is a great way to aid the process. Sam shows a more compassionate side here.

This is a wonderful idea that I hope is going on in real life. It’s also a great way for Sam to blend her work and White House role.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I loved this idea. It is one of the few times in the series that we see Sam's human side.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1803 comments This was a wonderful idea. People need to see that they are not alone and can help each other handle their grief and survivor's guilt.

I agree that it is one of the few times Sam demonstrates that she can think about others. That said, it feels as if Force is trying to rehabilitate Sam and make her more likable. For me, it doesn't really work because it seems grudging rather than heartfelt.
