It is October and Jen is home carving a pumpkin for Halloween, but then she sees her son commit a murder. Jen starts time traveling to the past to learn about why this occurred and more importantly how to prevent the crime. At first she goes back days, then it becomes years. She interacts with her husband, son, father, police and others at different periods and learns not everyone is who they portray themselves to be.

The author has created a complex story. McAllister shows Jen's confusion as she is trying to figure out why she has traveled to each specific day. She feels betrayed by people in her life and doubts herself. There are many twists in this thriller and it makes for an exciting read.

This sounds good to me. I wanted to read it in March, but I ran out of time. Maybe I can get to it in April. (Though I’m off to a very slow start.)
