Derrick | 974 comments Has anyone else seen the teaser trailer for this? I saw it at the theater today. It didn't really show too much. I'm not convinced it's going to make people want to go out and see the movie....

Erin (ems84) | 2661 comments No, I haven't seen the teaser yet, just movie posters.

Erin (ems84) | 2661 comments Thanks, I do agree I don't know if that is going to draw people to go and see it.

Kandice | 4387 comments I'm not sure that trailer is so appealing either, but I do think the poster is fantastic, and with Flannagan and Hiddleston, it will get an audience. I am very excited to see it.

Derrick | 974 comments I haven't seen the poster.

Jennifer Breen | 1 comments I just watched the trailer and don’t know myself if I want to see the movie based on that. I haven’t read the book yet either so I should do that first.

Kelly Grice | 18 comments I loved the story but not sure a film of it will capture peoples attention

Steve D | 3 comments This is one of the few King adaptations I think ill be able to convince my wife to go. I hope it meets the hype.

message 16: by Stefanie (new)

Stefanie | 1 comments I don’t know how it will play out on the big screen (as with most King movies) but I’m interested in seeing where it goes!

message 17: by Kandice (new)

Kandice | 4387 comments I saw this and was blown away. It was almost word for word as far as dialogue goes, and only filled out a bit in content. One of the most faithful adaptations of King's I have ever seen. He has said that a novella is the perfect length for adaptation, and I have to agree.

This movie was sweet, and beautiful.

message 18: by Nick (new)

Nick | 23 comments Overall, I was really surprised by how close this sticks to the novella. The changes that were made only help to make the story shine better. I preferred this adaptation to the actual novella itself. Highly recommend.

I think it's crazy that it isn't playing in more theaters. I had to drive a good distance to see it.

A couple of the theaters around where I live weren't showing it but I was able to find one fairly close that was!

Mike | 3 comments I adored the film. I don't know why it just sort of came and went form cinemas.
