Space Opera Fans discussion

Most space opera stories just barely mention how their starships get to other planets. Some technobabble usually without any details, or perhaps gates that send ships elsewhere using quantum tunneling. Then there are the stories that shrug and say it’s magic, either some technology that nobody can explain (but it works), or something that requires an operator with a special psychic power.

Here are some of those magic space drive stories that I like to reread:
