This might go along with some of the stuff being talked about in the Mental Health chat, but I wanted a topic to focus on it. Do you have ADHD or think you do? How do you handle it? Any tips?

DSS (pandorasbox_08) | 7 comments i think i have adhd cause i have a hard time focusing in class, even when im actually trying. Or I can’t understand something unless it’s explained in like the most dumbed down version. Any tips?

이 지호 | 3 comments ADHD is a mental disease that have "too many thoughts".
But the interesting fact is that, ADHD is known for having too many thoughts, but also not thinking carefully and acting spontaneously.
So the thinking way of ADHDers are rich but not so systematic.
Many people say that ADHD is a brain of warrior. The aristocratic warrior-poets that dominated our world in the past didn't take their life seriously and they even laughed at death. The individuals with higher intelligence, who are ought to rule the other, are quite imaginative and meditative compared to others. But they don't view or use their thinking as a tool for something- rather they just meditate like kind of voluntarious obligation.
Nowadays, we implicitly ostracize people who think a lot. That is the symptom of degenerating society.

ella | 81 comments if some of y'all can get diagnosed you should. I also wish there was something where minors could get diagnosed by themselves bc there's a lot of parents that neglect or believe these mental disabilities don't exist

ella | 81 comments I was diagnosed with little things throughout my whole life then finally last year somebody notice and found i was autistic. my parents and I weren't surprised bc there was lots of signs when I as younger

Ava ୨ৎ (semi-hiatus) I’ve done a lot of reasearch and I think I have adhd, I filled out the forms and so did my parents and my doctor said it would should that I 100% have adhd, but the form my teacher filled out didn’t quite fit the criteria. I looked it up and the criteria they’re using is kind of outdated and the same for everyone over 6 which is unfair, plus there’s more studies and such about masking and adhd in girls vs boys, so it’s hard to know, but I still really think I have it

Naimallama🦙:P | 29 comments I might have ADHD, I don't really get hyper but I do zone out a LOT. I do get latched to something I like and don't want to quit so that's one thing. I'm working on focusing more but its just so hard. Especially if its so boring.

ella | 81 comments there is a hyperactive side and an inattentive side I'm more of the inattentive side

I feel like both sometimes 😭 I switch between being hyperactive and hyperfocusing, and then being really inattentive and unmotivated
