To All the Boys I've Loved Before question

Personally I loved the series but I had just one problem with the books. Margot. Margot in the movies is a lot less controlling than her in the books and it was honestly a turn off at times for me. Margot constantly ordered everyone around and consistently second-guessed and judged Lara Jean's decisions and I soon felt a putrid disgust for her character even though I can't help it. Her also blaming Lara Jean for everything wrong in their life felt so off-putting as if Lara Jean will never be good enough for her and that Margot is a "perfect daughter." I really hope I'm not the only one who feels this way, please comment!
