Steven Yatsko | 1 comments Hello all, I'm a creative originally from Cleveland and am currently developing a graphic novel—a surreal, painterly fable about adolescence, memory, and the hidden paths that shape us.

We’re building a visual archive of the real paths that shaped us—hidden trails, overgrown shortcuts, and informal back routes from suburban adolescence.

Whether it’s a worn track behind your school, a gravel path by the creek, or a trail between backyards that felt like a secret road—we’d love to see it. Submissions may appear in the Backyards treatment or future visual installations.

The project began with my own rediscovered home videos—images that blurred into dreams. I realized these landscapes weren’t just mine. They belonged to all of us.

You can tell me a little memory about the place on the submission form and if you choose to include your name I'll make sure to add credit to the image.

I've included the link to directly submit, and thank you so much!
