Have you eaten real food yet? (not junk food, or snacks- actual healthy, substantial food) Now is a great time to eat something, refill your water, and get ready for another hour long reading sprint.

If the weather is nice enough, pop your head outside, breathe in some fresh air, drink some water, and then grab your book for our 3rd scheduled reading sprint, starting at the top of Hour 8.

Ready? On the marks..... Get set ...................... Go!!!!!!!!

Lynnette | 324 comments Reading Scorched Grace (Sister Holiday Mystery #1) by Margot Douaihy I have not eaten real food yet and probably won’t today. In addition to reading all day, I’ve also given myself permission to eat crap.

Vavita | 159 comments Luckily the readathon started right after lunch for me. I had a great lunch. As dinner, I had a sandwich and wine…
Now I am having some sweet potatoes chips…

I started immersive reading (audio and print at the same time, for Growth of the Soil, by Knut Hamsun, so I'll finish the current chapter and then switch to We Do Not Part, by Han Kang.

Joining in. I'm starting Yellowface. Quite a few people seem to enjoy it for Readathon fun, so I will try it out and join in on the fun:)

Elyse (winesaboutbooks) | 2454 comments I did have a breakfast sandwich for breakfast but I've been grazing since then. Chips and dip and veg tray and dip. A little unhealthy with a little healthy.
Started this sprint on pg 1 of Junior High (Tegan and Sara, #1) by Tegan Quin

I finished my 2nd book of the day, just a few minutes after the end of Hour 8 We Do Not Part, by Han Kang. Not a 5-star book for me, but not bad, maybe 4.5 stars.

Ann A (readerann) | 867 comments Read 79 pages in The Book Censor's Library (short pages and it's going really fast).

Are you enjoying it? I really liked Yellowface, maybe not quite as much as I liked Babel, but both were 5 stars for me.

Cathy (cathepsut) | 567 comments Sadly, no reading during this sprint, I was at a birthday party, where they had „real“ food… 😝
