Diana Bo | 1 comments Hi everyone, I’m Diana Bo – a new author working on a visual fantasy project called Makko & Gaga. It’s a story about memory, imagination, and the inner ocean of the soul.

Here’s an excerpt from Chapter 4: The Guardian of Questions – where Makko meets the Megalodon, a creature from his childhood dreams.
Would love to hear your thoughts!

Excerpt: The Guardian of Questions

As the workshop of memory filled with light and static, the sea around Makko began to sing.
But it wasn’t a song—it was a call.

The surface of the water rippled, then opened like a forgotten thought. And from the depth, he came—the Megalodon.

Not as a monster.
Not as a threat.
But as a living thought from another time.

“You were always with me,” Makko whispered.

Three glowing crystals rose before him, each marked with a question.
To reach the Guardian, he had to remember the truth.

Crystal 1:
How long could a real Megalodon grow?
→ C: 25 meters ✅

Crystal 2:
How did the Megalodon locate its prey?
→ B: Electrosensors ✅

Crystal 3:
Why did the Megalodon probably go extinct?
→ B: Climate change & lack of food ✅

With each answer, the giant creature moved closer.
Its massive eye locked onto Makko—not judging, just recognizing.

Makko leapt into the water.
He touched the Megalodon’s back—where the symbol from his childhood drawing still glowed.

And suddenly, he understood:

“My dreams were never an escape. They were keys.
I just forgot how strong I was when I created those worlds.”

The ocean opened.
A portal appeared—
A new region on the map of his soul.

Thank you for reading! If the story resonates with you, I’d love to connect.
More coming soon.
