Josie is at the park with Harris when seven-year old Lucy Ross disappears while riding the carousel with her parents nearby. Josie goes into action, shutting down the ride and securing the park. If she hadn’t been there, would vital clues have perhaps been overlooked? How important was it that she helped mobilize law enforcement and searches almost immediately?

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments It was important to shut the ride and park as soon as Lucy was confirmed to be gone from the immediate area. There were no clues to overlook they soon discovered, but the Josie's prompt action would have preserved evidence, if there had been any. Her mobilization of everyone was very important.

They were later able to use the videos and pictures that people took during that time and if Josie hadn’t been there, many of those people would have left the park. They were lucky Josie was there.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments It would have been a difficult case to solve if Josie hadn't been there with her detective's eyes. I'm sure everyone wouldn't have been aware that the police needed pictures and videos. Valuable clues would have been lost.
