Vicki Henyon | 1 comments There is a quote on Goodreads attributed to Bram Stoker for the novel Dracula. It is nothing that Bram Stoker wrote and is not in the novel. It is from the movie made in 1992. There was an adaptation by other author(s) of the movie and the quote needs to be corrected to said author(s). Please remove "I have crossed oceans of time to find you" from the list of Bram Stoker quotes. It does a disservice to the novel, which was not, like the movie, a romance.

Carol She's So Novel꧁꧂ | 2280 comments I have found the quote(s). There are five versions & the merge feature isn't working for most librarians. AI has told me that this quote has appeared in the film, but I can't find any proof that it wasn't in the book (which I haven't read) I agree that from what I have read about this book it is highly unlikely to be in it.

Version One is credited to one of the screenwriters. Since it is in a published book I don't think it should be removed but this may need to be clarified with the moderator.

Versions Two, Three, Four should probably be merged with version one, but I'm one of the majority of librarians where merge hasn't worked for 11 years.

Version five Is credited to the graphic novel - so it could be in this version. I'll leave for now as 2-4 need a Super. If a Super doesn't turn up, I'll try to change to the correct author.

Can you edit the title of your thread (only possible in the desktop view) to add [needs a Super] or Similar

Here are the five versions I found.
