is anyone else really scared for this book? 😭

im actually so nervous bc this could ruin lizzie for me

I am scared I won't like it as such as the other books

@madi i feel like it could make or break her character for me. i’m personally a lizzie “hater” (not fully, and i’m not insane, but i suppose that’s the term the fandom gives people who don’t like her) so i feel like seeing the way her mind operates could either make me like her, or hate her even more.

also, i’ve been scrolling through the BoT reddit sub and i’ve seen theories that lizzie might get pregnant but then have a miscarriage or the baby might be stillborn. because there’s a song on the playlist about how they all go to a funeral, so what if it’s the baby’s and not hughie’s like everyone’s guessing? 🫣🤷‍♀️

@madi maybe, but i think was before the releasing 10 announcement (when we still thought that claiming 10 was coming first) so she would’ve already been dead then, hence the theories of hugh dying.

Hey i know it's not may anymore but i have a question about this book that's really been confusing me. Do you guys think lizzie cheated on hugh or not because i see some people saying she did cheat on him then others saying because she was manic, drunk and lowkey thought it was hugh that it wasn't actually cheating. What do u guys make of the situation?

I don’t think she knew what she was doing and I think to an extent Hughie knows that too and I think Pierce knew that she wasn’t OK either and he still did it which is why I dislike Pierce

@Caitlin Pierce 100% sexually assaulted her. She genuinely actually thought it was Hugh who was doing that to her, not Pierce, and Pierce knew that she thought it was Hugh, and still didn’t stop.
I think Hugh finding out that Pierce did that to her will cause him a lot of grief in C10, and will probably be a very big plot point for both of them.

hey guys I need your help, because I really want to read this book and continue the series but I've heard a lot of people say it's really dark and depressing? so what do you guys say, is it worth reading the book?

Okay but I did feel like Lizzie was forcing Hugh so much to have sex with her to a point when it just wasn't okay

Also I feel like Lizzie did get sexually assualted by Pierce BUT Hugh shouldn't take her back. she LITERALLY said something like 'it's not that bad', 'we both got what we wanted', 'you need to get over it' THAT IS NLT OKAY

AND SO AGREE. hugh needs to take her back WHEN HE’S READY AND WHEN SHE’S READY. i can’t explan how much it pmo that they get back together WHILE he’s still in a relationship. (and she is also, technically, as she’s on and off with pierce.)

@mar yeah i defenitly agree. Also correct me if i'm wrong but lizzie was literally THREATENING to leave him if he didn't have sex with her like she literally said something to the effect of "if you won't have srx with me i'll just go find someone who will"

It actually put me off lizzie a bit if anything because she of all people should understand respecting boundaries and the seriousness of SA after everything she has been through but still she was so so pushy about it to the point of manipulating, threatening and coercing hugh

@Caitlin agreed; there are so many plotholes regarding lizzie and sa. like in T7, she basically forced claire to go out with that one guy (i literally don’t remember his name lmao) when he literally assualted her in second year (which was technically only two years ago since they skipped fourth year).
