Love the sound of this one. Opening chapters introduce us to the detective and her situation (a woman desperate to ensure closure) and the discovery of a body in secluded woodland.
First quarter. An odd set-up, and someone is definitely hiding something.
Second quarter. Can’t believe the lack of responsibility shown by the reporter. The missing diary seems as if it could be important, but I wonder if her sister will share it with the police.
Finished. Review on home page. This did not go the way I expected. A little more nuanced than I thought it might be, which was definitely a plus.
