Yeah I would say so - however they might not be able to really understand the underlying topics and feelings apart from the young love part of the books.
Yes, because it is a young adult book, but it includes romance, crushes, love triangles, emotiola topics, drama and especially in third book there are more mature themes.

No- if you dont like drama or complicated relationships and love triangles.

I read it when I was 11 or younger and I understood it perfectly. Maybe I'm mature for my age but I think it depends on the parents and the child.
