I read this book in the late 90's, may have been a 'Point Romance' book but not sure. I remember the girl was driving her dad's car, and it breaks down. Then the guy offers to help in exchange for her going to a wedding, and she initially refuses the offer as she's popular and doesn't want to be seen with him, but then agrees as she has no choice. Thank you
