15.10 I'm Not Scared
While you are camping, don't forget the scary stories by the campfire.
Read a book with MPG Horror- Stand alone or embedded

Help - I don't read horror, does anyone have cozy mystery type suggestions?

message 3: by Robin P (new)

Robin P | 1611 comments I'm looking for something lighter also. One I've already read is The Graveyard Book where the child grows up in a graveyard but is never really at risk. It is a children's book but I think it must have qualified when I read it.

Marie (UK) (mazza1) | 3942 comments I have read Horrorstör - the author has several horror books and I quite like his books

Neil Gaimen is also a good choice - Coraline or Neverwhere spring to mind

Another option is to try a short story collection - I often find they don't create quite the same level of Horror

For real horror I would say The Wasp Factory OMG i loved this book and I wouldn't normally choose horror BUT it is not light

I read a ton of horror!
One of my favorites is The Whispering Dead , it has humor and it's not really scary.

Kathy KS | 2382 comments Jordan L. Hawk (mentioned above) is usually marked "Horror", but I like them. I usually avoid most with this MPG. They are also pretty short.
