From Chapter III, The Ingleside Children: "It had not been occupied for many years, but a grass-grown dyke surrounded it and inside was an ancient garden where the Ingleside children could find violets and daisies and June lilies still blooming in season.

Thank you all for participating! Together we read 40 books and found a wide array of flowers. Ellen Arwen definetly ended up with the most colourful bouquet.

May Read-a-thon
Since April showers bring May flowers, let’s celebrate spring by making bouquets.
You can add any flower you like to your bouquet, provided you can find it in the book, on the cover, or can spell it from the title, author's name and/or series title.
If you need ideas here are some common flowers:
This will start on May 21st (starting at your midnight time zone) and will end on May 31st (ending at your midnight time zone).
How to claim flowers for your bouquet:
Every time you FINISH a book, you will need to make a completion post like so:

To add a flower to your bouquet to you can do any of the following:
1. Using any flower(s) on the cover (any edition works, no need to identify the specific flower)
2. Using the letters in title, series title, and/or author first/last name (in any order)
3. Finding the word in text (please state location and passage)
4. Finding “bouquet” or “flower” in text (please state location and passage)
What you need to do in order to participate:
Step 1 - Sign up on this thread!
Step 2 - Post your books when completed!
Step 3 - Have fun and read lots of good books!
Anyone is welcome to join! Unlike the other challenges, reviews are not required to participate in the read-a-thon.
