(view spoiler)[ I feel kind of bad for Francis for having 2 horrible friends, but I think how things played out are also kind of her fault. She might've been murdered in the end, but she lived like 60 years after the fortune telling. Imagine how her life could've been so much better if she hadn't so paranoid, it could've been 60 happy, peaceful years. And maybe then people wouldn't have been so happy to see her gone.

She had a niece, Laura. And a great niece, Annie. She could've gotten to know then instead of just staying away out of fear. Her life could've been so much better if she hadn't spent it in paranoia. Because ultimately this all started with the fortune reading. And if she hadn't ever even had her fortune told, this might've not happened. And if she'd ignored it, well, she still might be living.

Rose shouldn't have done what she did. But Francis isn't innocent, she played a part in how things ended up too. (hide spoiler)]
