Initial impressions of Lenore County Deputy Sheriff Josh Moore…lazy or behavior generating suspicion?

Not lazy, exactly, but definitely not wanting to contribute more than he absolutely has too. I did harbor suspicions about him.

I agree with Anita. He was on my list. He seemed to be hiding information throughout most of the book. I expected he was protecting his sister.

But he was so sneaky about it! I was very disappointed that what he was hiding was so benign.

I thought him extremely lazy. He had to be prompted to do the most basic of procedural steps. He only got motivated when Maya was found since he was so convinced her boyfriend had killed her.
