The team sets up surveillance around the Sanctuary but take up positions about a quarter of a mile from each other. Josie gets abducted and held within the Sanctuary by Jack Gresham with Charlotte’s eventual complicity. If they had worked in pairs, could this have been avoided? Do you think they would have eventually killed Josie?

Josie really shouldn't have been on this surveillance. She was sleep deprived and her head really wasn't all together there. She made several crucial mistakes that allowed Jack to take her. If they worked in pairs, it probably wouldn't have happened.

Charlotte really thought she could turn Josie, but if she couldn't and after Jack was done with her, they would have killed her.

Even though Josie was sleep deprived, I found it hard to believe that she made so many rookie mistakes. I knew something was going to happen to Josie.

Josie would have been killed eventually because she would have frustrated both Jack and Charlotte.

I found it amazing that they would not be in pairs for the surveillance. Made no sense. Yes, Josie would have been eventually murdered because Charlotte had no control over Jack. She may have read Josie’s current distress about Lila correctly but she had no clue as to her grit and determination. Both of them underestimated her. But this was a badly designed police operation.
