Play Book Tag discussion

Hilarious second book starring Vera Wong, teahouse owner and self-described private investigator. She meets a young woman, Millie, with secrets, who is trying to find her friend, Thomas, who has disappeared. Then, when snooping through her son’s girlfriend’s case files (Selena is a police detective) she finds a picture of Thomas as the victim of a possible suicide. She decides this will be her next case and copies the file. Thomas (aka Xander) however, is a true mystery. He doesn’t show up as a real person.

The case involves several side characters who came in contact with Xander, and all could be suspects and have something to hide. Vera pushes and pulls people into doing what she needs while making them all feel like family. This is so much fun. Highly recommended.
