amber rereading something you loved and/or short stories will never fail me, usually something with not much of a plot

Winter (wintersky005) | 3 comments read a thriller!! anything by Freida McFadden specifically. usually goes by quick & they're really good! maybe the housemaid or never lie :)

☁︎Grace☁︎ | 402 comments I second both of these but just a heads up if yoy do read Frieda McFadden her book “The Teacher” does have pedophilia so I wouldn’t read that book from her (unless you into that ig) but the housemaid series and the boyfriend I enjoyed

౨ৎ esh (jinu, kai, hyunjin's ver.) | 75 comments Yes thrillers are great! Like winter said, Frieda mcfadden’s books are really good. I binged the housemaid in a couple of hours in one sitting. You could also try reading holly Jackson’s mysteries like a good girls guide to murder and five survive. Five survive is a standalone that just keeps u on the edge. Also the book is divided in sections according to each hour and I think there’s like around 6 so it could help with how much u read in one sitting.

Jan (Kavanagh's wifey) (jann_) | 232 comments Well, all of those Freida McFadden books that y'all recommended, I read them already, and if we talk abt other Freida McFadden books, I tried reading one, but I'm still in a slump. Maybe, I'll just try rereading one of my favs

Shubham | 1 comments I recommend reading Vicious by V.E.Schwab . Supernatural , suspense, thriller.

The Bookaddict | 1 comments I would recommend a book that is shorter. For me the novelty of finishing a book gives me a lot more motivation.

Dragon Queen | 285 comments i always get a short ish book (like 200-300 pages) and force myself to finish it in one day then the next book I read normally gets me out of the slump

Olivia | 9 comments I would recommend reading a comic book or a graphic novel! They aren't too dense and have a ton of pictures to look at.
There are graphic novel versions for a ton of novels, so you could pick some of those up if you don't want a comic book.
Also remember that audiobooks are valid!
