Hello fellow readers-

Creating this thread for our 22nd overall book but our second book of round 6.

Please share your final ranking and thoughts below

Alicia Jones | 35 comments Fav character: Circe for being the best strong leading female character I’ve read about in a long time. A great stand for feminism and a good example that even if it takes a full life to get there, the character development along that way is worth it.

Least fav character: Helios, a man for one. A dead beat dad for two. Not only abusive, but what are you doing with your life, you “big powerful god” other than hanging w the sun and being a bad person?

Rating: 8.4

Savanah | 79 comments Fave - Circe , she showed growth and change while the gods are generally still and never changing

Least - Aeetis, just not kind

Eating - 8.2, enjoyed it would read again

Fav Character: Penelope - A woman who was tired of her husband and just wanted to live chill on an island!

Least Fav: i dont remember what i said on call but like... Glaucus was a piece of shit man who used a woman to get power and dropped her

score: i dont remember :(

Alex O. | 40 comments Favorite Character: Circe. She was the primary focus and her actions were the driving force of the novel. The narrative focuses on her journey of growth and self love. All other characters are pushed to the sidelines to make way for this queen!

Least Favorite Character: Perse. The mother of Circe - or rather, the carrier of Circe because she was never much of a mother at all.

Rating: 7.9. I was invested in the story and thought it was well written but the plot really drags. Circe’s character development was nice to read but I also wish that other characters had more time to shine.
