In the voting to select our August 2025 book of the month, we had a triple tie with five votes. So we have also selected the books to be read in September and October. The moderator applied a random generator and the order in which we'll read them is the following:

Book for August: The Spirit of the Liturgy by Joseph Ratzinger

Book for September: The Eighth Arrow: Odysseus in the Underworld, A Novel by Augustine Wetta

Book for October: Elfling by Corinna Turner

The rest of the voting was as follows:

With 4 votes:
This Thing of Darkness
With 3 votes:
The Good, the Bad and the Beautiful
Oddsfish!
Wheat that springeth green
Dilexit Nos
With 2 votes:
Behold the man
Champions of the Rosary
Intercession
Finding happiness in a complex world
The King's Achievement
Race with the devil
With 1 vote (this book leaves the Voting List, but is moved to the end of the Nominations List):
Paradoxes of Catholicism
With 0 votes (this book is removed from both lists):
The last homily

The five books at the top of the Nominations List will be added to the Voting List for the November 2025 voting, which will take place on September 15.
