Re new artists, I would agree with you Nick. But for my music tastes, there are plenty of “oldies” still releasing new stuff.

And as Jim has mentioned the language of his nominee, Marlon Williams (at 34 a young artist for me, although I’ve been following him for 10 years) is singing in Māori.

I'd like to nominate a song that was made in the 80's, but as far as I can gather the album was only released this year. Do we still save these sort of releases for the last round of The Cream of 2025?
