Over the next year, Ash and I are launching a Book of the Month (botm) inspired by the zodiac—and we’d love your help picking the perfect books for each sign!

For example:
It’s June 30, which means we’re in Cancer (June 21–July 22). Cancers are a water sign known for being intuitive, loyal, and a little moody. What fantasy books do you think capture that energy?

That's my sign :) I think Cancer books should be imaginative, mysterious, and also humorous. Beautifully written. Probably romantic.

"The Bridge Kingdom" by Danielle L. Jensen
Enemies-to-lovers, but heavy on emotional betrayal and trust issues. The emotional weight gives it a Cancerian flavor.

A heartwarming found-family fantasy with a soft, slow-burning romance. Deeply nurturing vibes. Screams Cancer.
"Uprooted" by Naomi Novik
A girl is pulled into a magical forest war and slowly builds trust with a prickly sorcerer. Emotional growth, healing, and loyalty.

"The Song of Achilles" by Madeline Miller
While not strictly fantasy romance, it is deeply romantic and emotional — with intense loyalty, tenderness, and heartbreak. Very Cancer-coded.
"To Bleed a Crystal Bloom" by Sarah A. Parker
Gothic, emotional, protective love interest. Secrets, longing, and vulnerability.













"Once Upon a Broken Heart" by Stephanie Garber
Dreamy, whimsical, with a heroine who feels everything deeply. Romantic idealism = so much Cancer energy.

I love reading all these devs; so far I have only read ACOMAF.

A libra book is weyward by Emilia hart! Or the unmaking of June farrow. Perfect book about balance and decision making in a fall setting.

I also think the favorites by lane Fargo would be a great libra book because Libras love luxury
