Twisting in Time has gotten some great advanced reviews, and it's my first true fantasy. It takes all the characters back in time to a mythical kingdom called Slaathwick, where we learn the origins of Goff's natural magic. He's a Verlokken in that time period, a natural magician that is revered and feared since they drag anyone close to them into treacherous adventures, or as the minstrels of Slaathwick sing:
