Before Trinity leaves, she hurls some hurtful comments at Josie, saying she didn’t really know her and maybe they weren’t meant to be sisters. What did you make of all this at the time?

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments I was kind of shocked Trinity felt that way. We all assumed that Trinity had a storybook life growing up. Finding out what really happened was a shock.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I thought Trinity was nasty and pissed me off. She knew about Josie's history from what had been published and what Josie had shared with her and her family. Trinity had no right to claim Josie didn't know her because she didn't share in return.

message 4: by Susan (new)

Susan (cruelshoes) | 158 comments Trinity had no right to say those things. She was just being very mean as only a sister can. I know I have said some very mean things to my sister.

Talk about harsh. Part of it was the truth and when I finished the book, I realized the tone and nastiness was meant to keep her away. Under different circumstances , Trinity might have delivered the same message but in a much more productive way.
