Jaime, Trinity’s assistant, said she was going to be replaced by Mila Kates who happens to be sleeping with Hayden, Trinity’s co-anchor. Does it appear her losing her job had nothing to do with her faux pas on air?

It definitely looks like that to me. Especially since what Trinity said doesn't rise to the level of being fired for that I have heard out of some news people's mouths. Hayden wanted Trinity gone so his girlfriend to have her position and, I bet, because Trinity was more popular than he was.

I agree with Anita. They were looking for any excuse to fire Trinity.

Agree with you all. Mila sleeping with Hayden gives her the opportunity to advance her career and getting rid of Trinity was easy once she voiced her opinion on air.

It reminds me of an episode of "How I met your mother." when Robin was fired.
